What makes a healthy church? |
|
 |
|
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. -- Acts 2:42
Just as the human body needs proper nutrition and exercise, a fit church body feeds on a steady diet of the Word of God, and exercises their faith through worship and prayer. These healthy habits are necessary to prepare the church for their ministering purpose, effectively edifying all people through fellowship and evangelism.
Church Alive is committed to helping you grow spiritually, both as an individual and as part of God's family. We want you to enjoy "living the life" and to celebrate God's love with everyone around you. We encourage you to get involved, surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit, and grow in your love for God and others.

Components of a healthy church:
1. Prayer and Worship (Acts 1:14)
2. The Word of God (Heb. 6:1-2)
3. Fellowship (1 Cor. 1:9)
4. Evangelism (Acts 8:1-8)
